Behavioral Therapy for Pediatric Bipolar Disorder

Child and Family-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Pediatric Bipolar Disorder

Suicidality among youth with bipolar disorder (BD) is an extreme, but largely unaddressed, public health problem: up to 50% of youth with BD will make a suicide attempt by age 18. This is the first study to examine the suicidality response to psychosocial intervention in a randomized controlled trial of children and preadolescents with bipolar spectrum disorders.
